The Nike Ja 2 are Ja Morant's second signature basketball shoe, designed to optimise rebound, speed and stability on court. They feature an Air Zoom unit in the forefoot for increased responsiveness and vertical acceleration. The lightweight design is achieved by reducing material in the arch without compromising support, while the lightweight mesh upper ensures comfort and breathability. The sole with a multi-directional traction pattern, inspired by the tractor tyres Ja used to train on in the backyard, facilitates quick changes of direction. In addition, extra padding at the ankle and a raised foam collar offer added comfort and support during quick movements.
